In a lonely lockdown, twelve-year-old Harper faces her final year of primary school without her parents. Stuck at home, her friendships start to fracture. Things get weirder when she discovers a WWI ghost haunting her school library. Harper must find the courage to face an uncertain future. I enjoyed reading about things that can happen to girls the same age as me, and it reminds me of Emily Gale’s books Elsewhere and Outlaw Girls. I think empathetic readers and lovers of school-related ghost stories would like this book.
