This book, Otto’s Ink–redible First Day of School is by far most one of the most eye – catching and luring children’s book I’ve read in a while. The illustrations are striking and could be described as ‘bubbly’. The idea and plot of this picture book can relate to young children from all walks of life as it highlights the importance of friendship and how it’s a normal human experience to feel nervous! It’s important to be educated on how you can be more confident and embrace your nervousness in a positive way, and this book definitely shows how. Overall, this book was wonderful, and I would rate it highly (5 / 5) because of its level of relatability and innocent joy.
