One more sleep! I’m so excited! Book Week’s here at last! What will I wear for dress-up day? I need a costume fast. With so many wonderful books to choose from, deciding on the perfect Book Week costume can be a HUGE challenge, but not when you have a family WILD about creativity!
I finished this book because it was interesting to see which costume the main character would wear during Book Week. This book is about a little girl wanting to choose the best costume for Book Week but her family give her many different suggestions that confuse her. The story takes place in the girl’s house with her sister, Mum, Dad, Pa, Grandma and Grandpa. She has a tough time making her final selection, which turns into a great mystery.
I enjoyed the part where she was getting all the suggestions, but I would have liked to know her name. I find it easier to identify with a character that has a name. This would be a great book for 5-7 year olds. I would give it a 4.2 star rating.
