Arsenic For Tea features schoolgirl detectives Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells as they solve the chilling murder of one of Daisy’s house guests. Isolated due to floods, they’re stuck in Daisy’s home, Fallingford, for the holidays.
With the whole family invited, the suspect list is endless but they have to solve it fast as they are stuck with a murderer on the loose.
Robin Stevens illustrated a roller-coaster of a story enabling me to picture the action taking place thanks to her amazing storytelling abilities and techniques.
I enjoyed the problems taking place and the mystery and suspense that kept me progressing through the book.
A reader who loves the thrill of mystery and excitement would enjoy this action-packed book.
