Review: This story is about a little aboriginal girl named Wanda Gibson who on her holidays would pack three dresses, and three pairs of undies to take to the beach with her family. She would have to walk two days to get to the beach for a holiday. Once they were at the beach they would catch fish, sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, and all sorts of sea creatures, then they would make a fire where they sit around it and tell stories while they cook their fish. Once their holiday was over, they would walk back to their homes, go to school for half a day then they would spend the rest of the day at the farm working and not being paid anything. The reason why they take three dresses, and three undies is because one is for wash, one is for wearing and the last one was for spare and they had no money for anything more.

This is a great book since it has many details, and I would give it 4.5 stars out of five stars. I also recommend children who are 10 to 15 years old to read this book because those who are younger won’t understand the message inside this book and those who are older will think this is simple book, so they may not read it properly.
