Syl and Viola have been best friends from birth. That is until Syl is found dead in the driver’s seat of Viola’s car and Viola has vanished. Overall, The concept of the book is extremely compelling. While it is not a fast paced thriller, it leans more towards psychological fiction and that is what makes it stand out. The heart of the story lies in the deeply complex relationship between Syl and Viola. By the end the reader must decide who is right and who is wrong.
