The Grey Berets, written by Anna Battese, is a story about a girl named Odie who was posted as a guide on The Grey Berets. She was on a yacht when it started sinking, and so she, 3 other kids, and a baby faced many challenges when being stranded on an island. I enjoyed this book because it was entertaining throughout; a very easy read and enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the illustrations throughout the book that gave a visual on what was happening; however, I found that the book lacked suspense throughout its events. I would recommend this book to readers who love adventure and easy reads.
