The story “The Lost Ponies” is a suspenseful and engaging book that hooks readers from the very first page. The author, Josephine Moon, did an immaculate job capturing the bond between Millie and Stella’s ponies, making the disappearance of the ponies feel personal and urgent. The story combines elements of friendship, mystery, and humour, making it an engaging book for children aged 8–12 or any pony lover, regardless of age. What was truly the best thing about this book was that I could clearly imagine everything that was happening. The detailed descriptions brought the words to life, making it feel as if I were alongside the characters in the book. I would definitely recommend this book, as it has a great storyline and takes the reader on a roller coaster of emotions. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars!
