⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ Even though I have never read Little Women, I was instantly drawn to the March sisters in this modern retelling and, even more so, their sisterly dynamic. Beth Is Dead was an utterly enthralling murder mystery- one of my favourite genres- that had such a profound insight into sisterhood, grief and love. I adored the multiple-points-of-view and Katie Bernet wonderfully captured the different voices of all the sisters. This was truly one that I did not want to put down; it was really well written, rotating between the perspectives and time periods. A fabulous debut that even those who have not read Little Women would be able to pick up and find it just as engrossing! I definitely would recommend this book to those who love a good whodunnit with shocking plot twists, and characters with memorable and distinct personalities. ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆
