This book is about a girl, Kumiko, and her little sister, Arisu. Kumiko hates Arisu because she annoys her by waking her up and singing loudly. Both sisters have a guardian dragon, to protect them from the shadow catchers. They both also have unique powers; Kumiko has bravery, and Arisu has the ability to read minds.
I really enjoyed this book, as it has intense parts, but does not give the solution straight away. The author, Briony Stewart, has also included descriptive moments, which makes the reader feel as if they were in the moment. I would recommend this book, for people who loved stories about dragons, myths, and mysteries. That is why I rate this book 4/5 stars.
