The Real Pigeons are super pigeons whose names are Rock, Frillback, Tumbler, Homey and their leader Grandpouter. They keep the streets clean of evil and crimes from the villains in the city. This book consists of three interesting stories, if you want to know them… then read the book! My eyes were glued to this book, I couldn’t stop reading, flipping page after page.
My favourite thing about the book was that it was a friendly book targeted towards children. Its language is not overly challenging, however, you have to keep in mind it’s a children’s book. I least enjoyed its 1st story as it was too boring, there wasn’t anything intriguing to me, but once I reached the 2nd story, I was addicted to it and finished the full book in less than 15 minutes. While reading this book I realised that it’s a lot like the Bad Guys, they have corny jokes, the same style of drawings in the book… and a good story. I believe the author was inspired to make this book because he either liked pigeons or thought of a good idea for a children’s book. It is about pigeons who are heroes with superpowers which is really simple concept, but a lot of fun.
I 100% recommend this book to anyone as it’s a short attention-grabbing book which doesn’t take much time to read. My age recommendation is 6-10 years as the book is a children book which engages and doesn’t have much text or difficult words about the story, however, it was still intriguing thus bringing me to my overall review on the book which was a 4/5 stars.
