In this young readers' edition of his bestselling autobiography, follow his journey from his debut with the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2002, to State of Origin star, and…

JT: The Making of a Total Legend is a wonderful book. It is an autobiography written by footballer Johnathan Thurston and James Phelps. This book is about the highs and lows of Johnathan Thurston trying to get into the NRL. You get to hear about the funny home stories that made him great.

This is a very interesting book and was very engaging for someone like me who doesn’t like reading. It was easy to connect to and learn about how he got to the NRL; how he kept on trying even when everything was going down and no one believed in him. This book is very inspiring to any young sports fan and the process that Johnathan went though. He tells us how he changed for the better so his dreams could come true. I enjoyed learning about his regrets in life and hearing his advice on how to follow your dreams.

I rate this a 5 out 5 for keeping me engaged. I enjoyed reading the book and never wanted to put it down. I would recommend it to any sports fan 9-13. Please read this amazing book!
