Eragon is a book about a boy called Eragon who lives in Carravall, A small village near the deadly spine forest. Eragon was hunting in the forest to obtain food to sell for money when he encountered a huge, smooth sapphire gemstone. He attempts to sell it to multiple people but when they hear that a rock that was polished perfectly smooth, without any dents was found in the spine. They were suspicious and cautious. The night after that, the stone shakes and suddenly. The stone cracked and Eragon bonded with the dragonling. After a few months, a pair of creatures in dark cloaks come to town and ask about the stone. Sloan, the village butcher betrays Eragon and tells them about the egg in return for gold. They set Eragon’s farm on fire and douse his uncle with acid. Garrow, Eragon’s uncle is gravely ill and dies shortly after.

After that devastating catastrophe, Eragon embarks on an adventure to hunt down the razek with village storyteller, brom and his dragon, Sapira. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes adventure and fighting. But be warned, this is quite sad.
