I Am Number Four is the 1st of 7 books in the Lorien Legacies. It starts the journey of John Smith (Number 4) and his Cêpan, Henri Smith. He travels to Ohio and meets his first two friends: Sam Goode and Sarah Hart. They try to live a normal life, but something big goes down at Paradise High School and they are forced to come out of hiding. This book was such a thriller and definitely my favourite book of the entire series, definitely a hooking and enjoyable book for Year 8s onwards.
