Percy Jackson is just a normal teenager with ADHD and dyslexia until he disintegrates his math
teacher and finds out he is actually a demi-god (half human, half god). Oh, and his friend Grover is a satyr (human waist up, goat waist down). Percy ends up at a camp with mythical creatures and the children of gods. He must battle a variety of monsters and travel to the underworld to find his mother, or he will never see her again.
The thing I like most about Percy Jackson is that it is based on ancient Greek mythology, but it is set
in the modern day. Rick Riordan’s description of the gods and their behaviour was amazing, and I
enjoyed the plot so much. I would 100% recommend this series to any of my friends! if you like
adventure, fantasy, and action this is the perfect book for you.
