Pony is a kind, light-hearted book, filled with adventure and friendships. It’s about a 12 year old boy who goes on an adventure to find his dad. He travels on a horse called Pony, along with his best friend Mittinwool. As he gets closer to finding his dad some family secrets that have been hidden far away are brought to light.

The book is very well written. You could tell that it was set in the late 1800’s through the clear descriptions and how they spoke in different classes. The relationships that are built in the book are amazing, whether it was with friends, family or animals.

I loved this book because I was looking for a simple, light-hearted read and this was just it. I recommend Pony to young readers (10+) and people who want a break from very intense books.
