The book ‘The Greatest Thing’ by Sarah Winifred Searle is set in a high school during sophomore year. Winifred, the main character must go through high school on her own, as her two best friends have changed schools. ‘The Greatest Thing’ is about love, friendship, and self-acceptance. I love how the author has written the book, making the story so relatable in the way of portal. The characters are all from different backgrounds, have various races and all act differently. I really enjoyed reading this and would recommend it to people who enjoy teen reads, manga, and or graphic novels.
